WELL WHAT CAN I SAY, MY DOC WANTS ME TO START TREATMENT ASAP (GREAT), WE HAD A LONG CONVERSATION ABOUT THE TX AND MY GENERAL OVERALL FITNESS AND HOW I WOULD COPE WITH THE TX. BASICLLY I AM GOING TO START TX AT THE BEGINNING JANUARY 2006, THIS WILL GIVE ME 5 MONTHS TO LOSE SOME WEIGHT AND GIVE UP SMOKING.
HOPEFULLY BY THIS TIME I WOULD HAVE PREPARED MYSELF BOTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY FOR MY JOURNEY TO BECOME FREE FROM HEP C.
THE NURSE IS GOING TO RING ME NEXT WEEK TO START SORTING THINGS OUT.
I BETTER GO NOW BECAUSE MY SON NEEDS SOME ATTENTION.

Not neccessarily the best news in the world, but at least you have some certainty about what is ahead of you. Five months of no more Dominoes Pizza, and getting up early each morning to jog round the block.
I am pretty certain that it will be Doreen that will contact you. She is lovely and not at all like the rest of the heptology department at the N&N.

I'm so pleased to hear that you have treatment finally scheduled. Am sure that this is a relief.
Keep at the quitting smoking. It took me several attempts before I finally kicked it, but each time brought me that much closer. It's now been several years since I had a cigarette. Can't imagine going back.
Great re: the gym membership. Usually SO expensive (at least here) - getting a free membership is amazing.

I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
