Good on ya Steve...The first one is the hardest. I remember my hands were shakey & sweaty when I did mine...and I was with a nurse at the Royal Free Hospital when I did my first. You did yours all on you own eh? Well done you!
The second will be even easier.
I hope you feel alright this morning...you may feel a little fluey and head & body achey...all these things are quite normal and as long as you stick some paracetamol in your tummy just before the injection you should sleep right through until the morning.
You might want to get yourself one of those novelty calendars (The Simpsons or Family Guy or whatever) and stick it on the wall somewhere and mark off each day with a pen. I put an X1 on my first injection day and then filled the whole calendar up with all my scheduled injection days (in my case Thursdays) with more X's with 2 then 3 then 4 next to each X and when each day (including your Ribavirin) is over put a little mark or tick telling you that you have done that days tablets & injection etc. Also I kept every used Interferon syringe and marked my first with a 1 and second with a 2 etc...and stick them in a box in the cupboard.
I did all that for the whole of my treatment and it worked wonders.
If none of that makes sense I'll explain better on Thursday;)

Remember...you're not alone.

Hello there Steve

Well done on getting through your first non iv jab!!

How are you feeling now? I hope it's not as bad as you might have expected. I remember shivering like a mad woman after my first jab. I did my first in my flat in Manchester, think I was on my own at the time. That was back when you needed to do three injections a week - my stomach was covered in little bruises after a while but really it wasn't too bad giving the injections - after all we're used to doing that even if this is totally different!

I did struggle with the fact that taking the treatment meant I had to face up to having the virus - that was really hard, worse than being told about it in the first place I reckon. Make the most of any support that is around you now and you will get through this.

I'm looking forward to meeting you on Thursday at the inquiry - really hope you can make it - you've seen my photo on my blog, so do come and say hi when you see me.

All the very best,
Ros

I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers..
